Alan Mulholland

I grew up most of my young life on the Western isles of Scotland. This holds great, special, fond memories and I feel very lucky to have experienced island life.

I served my apprenticeship and eventually  moved back to the mainland where I predominantly worked offshore. 

Many years passed and life took me to the High Seas, working in the oil and gas sector of the Merchant Navy working in numerous places of the world as an Electrical Engineer.

Life took a new twist and I decided to re train as a Barber, something I had always wanted to do as a youngster but unfortunately at that time it wasn't the "done thing".

Pursuing my dream I attended a top end training facility in glasgow (The Scottish barbering school) whom I'll forever hold close to my heart for teaching me my skills. 
Immediately after completing my training Eskquire Musselburgh was born on December 2015, where I started to live my dream. A few years later  Eskquire became two (shops), Eskquire Prestonpans was opened April 2018.

Not only is it the hard work of myself, but everyone that works within Eskquire is what makes it a special place to be. I'm very proud to be not just the owner of Eskquire but to be Barbering within.
